We're seeking a highly skilled Business Architect to support a Trading program within a leading financial services organization. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in capital markets, strong requirements management skills, and proven experience facilitating workshops and capability mapping with business stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Lead business workshops with subject matter experts (SMEs) to capture, validate, and prioritize requirements. Develop capability maps and document both current and future state business architectures. Ensure traceability across requirements, business processes, and technical deliverables. Produce business process models (BPMN/UML), user stories, and other key documentation to support program delivery. Partner with product owners and delivery teams on backlog refinement and alignment with business objectives. Collaborate with technology and operations teams to ensure seamless translation of requirements into functional and technical solutions. Provide domain expertise in trading, clearing, and regulatory reporting to guide solution design and decision-making. Requirements

Strong background in business architecture, requirements management, and process modeling (BPMN/UML). Hands-on experience writing user stories and supporting agile backlog refinement. Knowledge of financial services and clearing processes, with specific exposure to capital markets trading. Familiarity with industry platforms such as Murex and Calypso. Experience with regulatory reporting frameworks (e.g., MiFIR/MiFID trade reporting). Understanding of trade settlement processes, including T+1 settlement requirements. Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage business and technical stakeholders at all levels. Nice to Have:

Prior consulting experience in trading program transformation initiatives. Exposure to data and technology integration projects in capital markets. Strong documentation portfolio demonstrating business capability mapping and end-to-end requirements traceability.
