Overview Brady is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join one of our software development teams, using modern development practices and the latest technology stack. The core purpose of this position is to design and develop the next generation of ecommerce solutions. Responsibilities Designing and developing ecommerce solutions using best practices of software development Adjust priorities and deliver business value as part of a scrum team Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with the team Automate select systems administration tasks through creation and maintenance of scripts and tools Propose technical alternatives and improve/streamline processes and systems Analyze monitoring and system performance data and provide improvement recommendations to product and system owners Provide monitoring support and troubleshooting for all tier-one customer-facing services Performs other duties as required What You Will Need To Be Successful Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field 5+ years of experience, preferably in web architectures Experience with web development using C#, .NET, and current JavaScript frameworks (primary skill) Experience implementing Web Services using SOAP or REST, and using existing Web services Experience with package managers (e.g. NPM, NuGet) Proficient in TDD with the desire to coach novice developers on the topic Ability to diagnose and debug issues within development environments and customer solutions Experience with version control & continuous integration systems (e.g. Jenkins, TFS, Git) About Us Brady makes products that make the world a safer and more productive place.
