Study Coordinator

Part-time Study Coordinator -- Screening and start ASAP! This person will be working 12 hour days for 9 study sessions. The coordinator will conduct human subject research, focusing on monitoring participants using a variety of technology products, including wearable devices, in an exercise setting. The coordinator will ensure proper data collection and guide participants throughout the study without being responsible for recruiting them. Responsibilities: Conduct research with human participants using wearable devices. Monitor participants and collect data throughout sessions. Obtain consent from participants and take necessary vitals and measurements, such as height, weight, and EKG. Ensure participants are properly set up with devices and monitoring equipment. Observe participants during activities as per protocol and ensure data monitoring functions correctly. Collect data through equipment and manually, ensuring accuracy. Guide participants through the study process. Essential Skills: Research and data entry proficiency. Capability to implement and execute test protocols. Technically savvy to operate test devices and perform data entry. Background in science (Bachelor's degree in science, exercise science, kinesiology, biology). Ability to stand for an entire shift. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Familiarity with gym equipment and exercise knowledge. Experience with clinical research and human subject research. Data analysis skills. Experience as a personal trainer is a plus. Strong people interaction skills, ideally with experience in patient care. Work Environment: The coordinator will work 12-hour days from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, 2 days a week, on specified dates. The role involves being on feet for long periods, with some desk work, and working in a simulated environment, possibly outdoors. The dress code is casual yet presentable, suitable for active work. Demonstrating activities for participants is required. The position offers flexibility in shifts, making it ideal for graduate students seeking clinical research experience. Job Type & Location: This is a Contract position based out of Denver, Colorado. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
