Sr. Developer, IT Service Mgmt
Overall Job Summary
This position is responsible for developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and supporting Tractor Supply Company's IT service management (ServiceNow) and related systems software suites based on input from business stakeholders, end-users, best practices and management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)
Develop, modify, configure, administer, and tune software applications related to ServiceNow and associated software suites. Build integrations between disparate systems and applications, creating intuitive user interfaces.
Meet with technical leads, architects and vendor partners to determine service scope and vision, set system goals, identify and resolve system issues, and ensure the system is implemented as designed and in adherence to the implementation guidelines.
Participate in 24x7 on-call rotational technical support to solve business problems and document resolution.
Participate in the execution of testing as part of the quality assurance process.
Ensure processes and procedures are properly documented, communicated, audited, and deployed in compliance with established procedures.
Identify and group information into consumable metrics, analysis, graphs, reports, and presentations.
Provide technical leadership and mentor team members on new technologies in area of expertise.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 5-9 years' equivalent work experience developing IT service management software required.
Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or related field.
Professional Certifications: ITIL v3 foundations certification preferred.
Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities
Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodology.
3+ years' experience developing using JavaScript.
