Position Responsibilities

• Receives product into the warehouse by unloading trucks, using equipment (forklift, pallet-jack, electric pallet-jack) or by hand.
• Ensures shipments received are in good condition and accurate by inspecting freight for damage, signing freight bills, verifying quantities, checking against packing lists, and completing necessary paperwork. Use of RF scanner is essential to the receiving process.
• Replenishes stock (put-away) using material handling equipment or by hand with RF scanners, including restocking picking stock, filling bin boxes, facing cartons, storing pallets, checking for product mixing, and rotating stock as needed.
• Fills customer orders by picking product with RF scanner, ensuring accuracy by scanning barcodes, and packing product into cartons or onto pallets for safe shipment.
• Ensures inventory accuracy by participating in cycle counts and inputting discrepancies into the RF Warehouse Management System.
• Serves customers at Will Call Counter with friendly, accurate, and prompt fulfillment of orders.
• Resolves problems by working cooperatively and professionally with coworkers and supervisors.
• Maintains department standards for accuracy and efficiency and a safe work environment, following safety rules and maintaining equipment and a clean workspace.
• Performs other duties as needed for the smooth operation of the warehouse.

Position Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Three to six months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Some knowledge of HVAC/R products and equipment is desirable; forklift operation ability is a plus
• Basic computer skills and ability to use RF scanner units
• Mathematical aptitude (ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide)
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team-based environment and support customers and colleagues
