Overview
Our client, a fast growing real estate private equity investment firm focused on industrial, flex, and office assets, is seeking a Senior Associate / Asset Manager to drive value and performance across their portfolio. This role requires a deal-makers mindset to identify opportunities, take decisive action, and deliver results. The Asset Manager will lead leasing strategy, negotiate major agreements, direct capital projects, and craft business plans that maximize asset potential. Success in this role will come from an entrepreneurial approach, strong financial and operational judgment, and the ability to rally third-party partners and internal teams toward execution. Responsibilities
Take ownership of asset performance and business plan execution, ensuring properties deliver on financial and operational objectives. Drive leasing activity by directing third-party teams, negotiating key leases, and setting strategies to increase occupancy and rental revenue. Lead planning and execution of capital projects, prioritizing initiatives that enhance long-term value and ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Partner with the acquisitions team to shape investment theses during due diligence and support smooth transitions post-closing. Manage refinancing, dispositions, and hold/sell decisions to maximize investment outcomes. Monitor budgets, financial performance, variance reports, and compile quarterly investor updates. Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, brokers, property managers, and construction partners. Continuously evaluate market dynamics and competitive positioning to identify risks and new opportunities. Qualifications
Bachelors degree in finance, real estate, business, or a related field. 37 years of experience in real estate asset management, investments, or portfolio management. Demonstrated success in driving leasing strategy, negotiating leases, and leading third-party leasing teams. Experience making capital allocation decisions and overseeing execution of CapEx initiatives. Strong financial and strategic judgment with the ability to act decisively under uncertainty. Entrepreneurial, proactive, and resourcefulable to find solutions and create value independently. Industrial real estate experience is preferred. Required Values
