AWS Cloud Engineer Location:

Contract Responsibilities Design, implement, and manage AWS networking components (VPC, Transit Gateway, Route 53, Direct Connect, VPN, security groups, NACLs). Deploy, configure, and manage Fortinet firewalls (FortiGate), SD-WAN, and security solutions within hybrid multi-cloud environments. Implement and manage infrastructure as code with Terraform, including reusable modules and state management. Apply network security best practices across cloud and on-premises environments. Troubleshoot complex networking and security issues. Maintain detailed documentation of network design.
Qualifications
Strong hands-on experience with AWS networking (VPC, Transit Gateway, Load Balancers, VPN, PrivateLink); production implementation experience required. Expertise in Fortinet security technologies (FortiGate firewall, VPN, centralized management with FortiManager/ FortiAnalyzer). Proficiency in Terraform for IaC (module design, workspaces, remote state). Solid knowledge of network security principles (firewalls, encryption, intrusion prevention, zero trust, segmentation); strong troubleshooting and incident response skills. Scripting experience (Python, Bash, or PowerShell). Familiarity with Kubernetes (EKS) and container security. Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid networking security. DevOps support.
