Blockhouse CO
Executive Operations Associate
We're looking for an Executive Operations Associate to join our team in New York City. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with the CEO and COO as a true right hand and help build the operating foundation of the company. No task is too small, and you'll gain exposure across all aspects of running and scaling an early-stage startup. Responsibilities
Build and maintain company operating systems in Notion (knowledge base, policies, documentation, onboarding, etc.). Implement and maintain no-code automations and workflows (Zapier) across tools (e.g., Notion, Linear, GitHub, Slack, Weave, Ashby, Rippling, Granola). Stand up and manage HR processes: policies, role-based provisioning, benefits/time-off tracking, laptop/software provisioning. Handle outreach and cross-functional operational needs for the leadership team. Support internal communications; ensure information is well-structured and clearly documented. Build decks and presentations to support internal and external meetings. Create and enforce best practices around collaboration and documentation. What We're Looking For
An early-career generalist who thrives in a "no task too small" environment. Explicit experience with Notion, Zapier, and automation tools this is core to the role. Strong project management background - able to design workflows, run sprint cadences, and keep teams accountable. Highly punctual, organized, and diligent you sweat the details. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; personable and confident working with all levels of the company. Comfortable making decks, presentations, and clear documentation. Ideally some technical fluency (automation, tooling, light scripting) and interest in markets/trading concepts. Prior exposure to HR/ops systems (Rippling, Ashby, etc.) a plus. Must be in-person in NYC and available to work in-office during working hours. Compensation & Benefits
This is a full-time contract-to-hire role, paid $20$30/hr depending on experience. We also provide competitive benefits for full-time employees and equity opportunities. Our perks and benefits include: Gym stipend to support fitness and wellness. Health insurance & wellness stipend via Superpower.com, giving you flexible access to tools and services that improve mental and physical health. Daily lunch provided, and dinner covered past 7pm. Potential sponsorship for H-1B visas for eligible candidates. Why Join
This role offers tremendous responsibility early on - you'll be building the foundation of the company from the inside. You'll work directly with founders, gain deep exposure to startups and capital markets, and have a front-row seat to scaling a high-growth business.
