Responsibilities
- Facilitate the permitting process by gathering data and act as the liaison between the company and various municipalities and engineering offices
- Provide complete start packages to the Builders
- Accurate and efficient processing of paperwork and information to ensure timely construction starts
- Update data in various software programs
- Maintain files relating to the permitting process
- Maintain weekly status report; preparation and distribution of various reports
- Work closely with the Architecture Department to correct any plan errors and ensure plan sets are complete
- Process Sales Contracts and verify information is accurate and complete; follow-up on missing information and necessary corrections
- Set up new customer file and enter and maintain any and all Drees systems/programs
- Responsible for all aspects of the closing process
- Create a final Homeowner file with all sales and construction documents and information
- Assist with special projects assigned by the General Manager, Operations Manager and Division President
Knowledge And Skills
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook
- Must be detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task with accuracy
- Professional communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse group of people
- Must be able to think and act independently
Requirements
- 1-2 years of relatable experience
- 1-2 years of permitting experience
- Experience working with a homebuilder and/or the permitting process, preferred
- High school diploma, college degree a plus
