Overview
Hybrid onsite role | 2 weeks per month in Merrimack, NH. Lead Engineer with expertise in analyzing existing solutions, designing new solutions, and helping team members build robust and scalable software using best design and development practices. In this role, you will lead, engineer, and develop quality software components and applications for brokerage products. You will build, modernize, and maintain web applications and apply cloud-native technologies. You will also help define and implement development practices, standards, and strategies. Pay:
$65 - $70/hr W2 Responsibilities
Partner with technology collaborators to understand requirements and provide solutions Design scalable technical solutions aligned with business requirements and the architecture roadmap Execute Test Driven Design & Development in a CI/CD environment in support of DevOps Prioritize and operate in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality Willingness to adapt to changing technology landscape Identify technical debt, make remediation recommendations, and lead efforts Communicate effectively with extended teams Provide technical mentorship Experience Requirements
Proven track record in crafting new solutions and maintaining applications on prem and in the cloud (AWS) Ability to work autonomously and engage with business partners across multiple aspects of the solution 7+ years of experience with Java & Angular Experience bootstrapping new projects and setting up guidelines for a team Specialization in developing solutions with Java using Spring Boot Strong understanding of RESTful and SOAP APIs Working knowledge of event-driven systems using Kafka Knowledge of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) Experience authenticating & authorizing applications & APIs using OAuth2 patterns Experience following Agile SDLC Proven ability to develop using TDD & BDD with JUnit5, Cypress, Mockito, and others Focus on secure, scalable, readable, and maintainable code adhering to OWASP guidelines, with tools like SonarQube and Veracode Experience with Git (Bitbucket) Full stack development on AWS components (e.g., Route 53, CloudFront, WAF, EC2, Lambda, CloudFormation, S3, IAM, KMS, EKS, CloudWatch, SNS, SQS) and DynamoDB Experience writing and maintaining Kubernetes deployment files or Helm charts Experience with Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation & Terraform) Experience building and deploying applications using CI pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Terraform) Knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems and shell scripting Experience deploying applications to Kubernetes clusters Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines including software configuration management, test automation, version control, and static code analysis Benefits
