We are seeking a
Business & Technology Development Manager
to lead strategic growth initiatives across the
fiber optics and data center market . In this role, youll build and manage key customer and partner relationships, drive new business opportunities, and help shape the development of high-performance fiber optic products used in cutting-edge network infrastructure. Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain relationships with
data center operators, system vendors, and transceiver manufacturers Understand
customer technology roadmaps
and identify new opportunities for product development Drive strategic account plans and lead new
fiber optic and connectivity solution
initiatives Act as a consultative partner, presenting tailored
technical and commercial solutions Work cross-functionally with Product Management and Engineering to define product requirements Manage multiple new technology and application development programs Represent US Conec at industry conferences, trade shows, and technical forums Analyze market trends and provide actionable insights to support innovation and business strategy Requirements
Bachelors degree in a technical field ( Engineering preferred ) Proven success in
business development , technical sales, or strategic partnerships Strong understanding of
optical communications
and the
data center ecosystem Ability to explain technical concepts and translate them into business opportunities Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship management skills Strong project management, analytical, and organizational abilities Comfortable with frequent travel (25% or more) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Preferred Experience
Experience with
fiber optic cabling ,
connectors , and hardware Familiarity with
data center infrastructure design and deployment Understanding of
network architectures , including optical switching and interconnect technologies
