Global Engagement All Applicants Position Open To: All Applicants Weekly Scheduled Hours: 19 FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Earliest Start Date: Immediately Position Duration: Expected To Continue Until Dec 31, 2025 Location: UT Main Campus Job Details: Marketing and Communications is the creative and marketing team for Texas Global, showcasing the depth and breadth of the University's global engagement activities across campus and abroad, supporting the mission of the University and enhancing its reputation around the world through strategic messaging and brand positioning. Purpose: Texas Global is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Digital Media Marketing Intern to assist with our photo and video creative needs. This internship offers hands-on experience in planning, executing, and collaborating with our Digital Marketing Strategist to enhance and promote our global portfolio through dynamic visual storytelling. Responsibilities: Produce high-quality marketing and social media content for Texas Global's programs, services, and special events Create compelling photo and video content for Texas Global's print and digital marketing materials Capture important events using camera, lighting, and audio equipment Direct action, set up equipment, conduct interviews, and edit footage to create visually stimulating narratives that promote UT Austin's global engagement activities and impact Edit photos and videos to ensure high-quality outputs that align with Texas Global's brand guidelines Required Qualifications
Expected to work 15-19 hours per week Must have a flexible schedule with the ability to work during weekends and evenings Pursuing a Bachelor's degree with major coursework in fine arts, communications, marketing or a related field Experience working with an SLR camera Proficiency in photography and videography techniques including lighting Proficiency in audio and video editing Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite Ability to capture photos and videos at events for social media Experience conducting an Instagram Story takeover Strong written and oral communication skills in English, including knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation Detail-oriented, proactive, and highly organized with the ability to multitask Positive attitude and collaborative mindset Ability to communicate effectively with international students, faculty, staff, and external contacts Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with international populations Cross-cultural competency and proficiency in a foreign language Salary Range
$12.00/hour Working Conditions
Standard office environment and or remote and event/program space Required Materials
