Admissions Department Coordinator

The Admissions Department Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Admissions Office. Reporting directly to the Admissions Operations Manager, this position combines exceptional customer service with strong organizational and administrative skills. The Coordinator is responsible for serving as the first point of contact for campus visitors at the Admissions reception desk and ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for all. Planning and managing logistics for visits and events using the admissions CRM (Slate), answering phone calls and responding to emails, recruiting, training, and supervising student workers, and supporting a range of administrative projects that keep the office running efficiently. Compensation, Benefits, and Perks:

The hourly range for this position is expected to be: $21.85 $23.00. A variety of health insurance plans (Medical effective date of hire, Vision, Dental), generous retirement plan 10.12% annual compensation contribution (eligible after 1 year of service and age 26), no match or vesting required! Education/Skills Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required; some college coursework preferred. Advanced proficiency in MS Office and the proven ability and initiative to learn technology. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, coordinate projects efficiently, and maintain accurate and organized data. Ability to be flexible and solutions-oriented, with a creative approach to serving varied stakeholder groups. Ability to anticipate future needs, prioritize effectively, and drive work forward independently. Experience Requirements and/or Equivalents:

Two years of experience in an administrative support role, preferably in an academic setting. Experience in reception and/or event coordination highly preferred. Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications in this posting to be considered for hire. This is an on-site, full-time, year-round position (0.94 FTE) working 37.5 hours per week from Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
