Responsible for implementing Agile best practices, making progress towards security accreditation, developing the project roadmap, and removing roadblocks to enable team success. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience. 8+ years of related experience. Manages and is responsible for the successful completion of all tasks in assigned program area. Develops, reviews, and approves plans, schedules, and provides various reports and technical reviews to senior management as requested. Ability to understand the business goals that you are supporting and translate into technical work. Responsible for stakeholder engagement and derivation of requirements. Responsible for translating requirements into user stories with testable acceptance criteria. Able to provide clear communication of the vision, goals and product backlog items to development team. Experienced Scrum master with documented ability assisting the product owner to understand and manage the backlog and sprint planning. Documented experience with producing content using Agile project management tools (Jira, Confluence). Demonstrated effective leadership and strategic thinking. Strong written and oral communication skills. Proactively and regularly make recommendations for system improvements. Experience managing a disparately located team. Scrum Master Certification or equivalent agile certification. Amazon Web Services (S3, RDS, EC2, ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, CloudFormation, etc.). Excellent knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle), SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate). Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph clearance. Location: Chantilly, VA on customer site. The likely salary range for this position is $158,855 - $214,921. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
