AI/ML Cloud Operations Engineer
The Opportunity: As a full stack developer, you can resolve problems with complete end-to-end solutions in a fast, agile environment. We're seeking an experienced developer capable of taking software and systems from vision to production-ready. This role involves more than coding. As a senior full stack developer at Booz Allen, you'll master new tools and techniques, identify system improvements, and help clients overcome their challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. You'll ensure solutions consider current architecture and operating environments, as well as future functionalities and enhancements. Join us as we shape better systems. The world can't wait. You Have: 5+ years of experience with Single Page Application development and client-side coding, including JavaScript, React, Angular, Aurelia, Vue, Ajax, JSON, or REST, and with design pattern principles like Object-Oriented programming, using languages such as C#, Python, PHP, Java, or ASP.NET. Experience with cloud resource deployment and usage, such as S3, API Gateway, EC2, Lambda, security principles, policy creation, and architecture design involving PUB, SUB, response, request, and microservices. Experience with CI/CD, including automation of code builds and deployment, Kubernetes, Helm Charts, and Agile SDLC processes. Experience building and deploying applications that utilize large language models (LLMs), including prompting, RAG, tool calling, and constructing scalable AI systems. Knowledge of how LLMs function, hardware and software performance techniques. Knowledge of database architecture, data transformations, WebAPI, application security, and Linux command line. Ability to interpret and develop technical documentation, including ERD or UML diagrams. TS/SCI clearance. HS diploma or GED. Ability to obtain Security+ Certification within 60 days of hire. Nice If You Have: Experience with vector database operations such as search, storage, security, and object tagging. Experience with LangChain, OpenAI tools, or MCP hosts/clients. Experience with multi-cloud deployment architectures including GCP, Azure, Oracle, or AWS. Experience with the fundamentals of machine learning. Security+ Certification.
