Location: Rochester, NY Pay Rate: $28 $32 per hour (OT eligible) Work Schedule: 9/80 Regular Schedule (67 AM start); overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed Work Environment: Manufacturing floor; safety glasses/shoes required; some clean room [semi-clean room] work with frocking; ESD environment Clearance Requirement: U.S. Person required; must be clearable (security clearance may be required) Position Overview: We are seeking an Experienced Electrical Technician to join our manufacturing team in Rochester, NY. In this role, you will perform assembly and integration of complex electromechanical space flight components, working hands-on with engineers to optimize designs for manufacturability. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in cable and harness builds, soldering of components, and handling fragile electronic assemblies under a microscope. Key Responsibilities:

Assemble, integrate, and test electromechanical space flight components. Perform cable and harness builds and precision soldering to IPC/JSTD/NASA standards. Collaborate with engineers on the design and development of new and existing products. Interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and detailed work instructions. Support manufacturing and prototyping efforts, ensuring compliance with quality standards. Maintain accurate records and manufacturing documentation. Operate in an ESD and semi-clean room environment, following all safety protocols. Work overtime and flexible schedules as required to support program needs. Required Qualifications:

U.S. Person (required) and able to obtain/maintain security clearance. High School Diploma/GED and minimum 4 years electrical manufacturing/production experience. Proficiency in cable and harness builds and soldering of components. Experience working in manufacturing and/or prototyping environments. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings/blueprints/schematics. Skilled in maintaining accurate production and test records. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment. Mechanically inclined and able to work with fragile assemblies under a microscope. Familiarity with IPC, JSTD, or comparable NASA standards. Preferred Qualifications:

Associate degree or higher in Electronics/Electrical or related discipline. Current certifications in IPC, JSTD, or NASA standards. Experience in aerospace or defense industries. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing practices. Cross-disciplinary knowledge (Electrical/Mechanical/Optical). Team & Impact:

Team size: ~21 technicians and engineers. Work directly with engineers and project teams on space flight hardware. High-visibility projects with opportunities for technical growth in aerospace/defense manufacturing.
