Construction Manager

We are looking for a reliable Construction Manager to plan construction projects and oversee their progress along the way in a timely and cost-effective manner.
You will be responsible for budgeting, organization, implementation and scheduling of the projects.
Responsibilities
- Responsibilities include the overall planning, direction, organization, and budgeting of all construction or maintenance work, on the project to the highest safety and quality levels
- Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
- Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
- Coordinate with the client, project management, and project services in identifying required reporting procedures and formats for the client
- Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory
- Meet contractual conditions of performance
- Review the work progress on a daily basis
- Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status
- Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
- Ensure the necessary permits and licenses (notice of the project, insurance certificates, workers' compensation, environmental permits etc.) are identified and obtained prior to the start of construction activities on site
- Analyze, manage and mitigate risks
- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
- Related Functional Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of construction experience or equivalent
- Be knowledgeable of Health and Safety programs and project-specific regulations
- Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
- Understanding of all facets of the construction process
- Ability to read, analyze and identify discrepancies in engineering plans, specifications, and contract documents
- Competent in conflict and crisis management
- Leadership and human resources management skills
- Excellent time and project management skills
- BS degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or a related field
