Job Details
Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can make a significant impact? This is a permanent role that will play a key part in our financial operations and strategy.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable / receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll, and utilities.
- Preparing journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations and assisting with monthly close processes.
- Implementing accounting policies and procedures that strengthen internal controls.
- Managing the acquisition process, including due diligence, valuation, and integration into financial operations.
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with official guidelines and requirements.
- Liaising with external auditors and managing audit processes.
- Participating in budgeting processes and updating financial plans regularly.
- Ensuring all financial operations comply with federal and state laws and regulations.
- Collaborating with accounting and financial staff and executives to improve financial processes.
- Assisting with special projects as required.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or related field.
- Public Accounting experience preferred
