Starting pay $20/hr. Base pay range is $20.00/hr - $20.00/hr. This range is provided by LKQ Corporation. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for safely operating a Company vehicle to deliver product to customers.
• Manually loads and unloads delivery truck, verifies parts loaded and unloaded, and delivers returned items back to the location.
• Collects payments from customers and obtains signatures from receiving locations confirming accuracy of parts unloaded/loaded.
• Provide excellent customer service during delivery/pick up of products.
• Drive a Company vehicle in a safe, courteous, and responsible manner, avoiding traffic violations and accidents.
• Physically load the Company truck at the location and verify the condition of the truck, the manifest, and related paperwork.
• Drive to delivery destinations, unload the truck, verify parts unloaded, obtain signatures, and sign off on the integrity of what was loaded.
• Make proper notations on the manifest and provide receipts for parts being returned from customers to the location.
• Assume other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

Education & Experience

• No Degree Required
• 1+ years of experience required
• Possess a valid driver's license and safe driving record
• Must qualify for Corporate insurance programs, including vehicle insurance
• Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must comply with state and local mandated requirements as well as DOT and FMCSA regulations

Preferred Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Six months related delivery driving experience
• Prior warehouse operations experience

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Ability to perform arithmetic operations and work with measurements and quantities
• Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel; ability to support business objectives with documentation and reporting
• Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to train others and present to management
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with moderate complexity
• Ability to work with minimal guidance to achieve results

Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment

• Occasionally stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or sit for extended periods
• May work in cramped spaces or underneath vehicles; PPE may be required
• May be exposed to extreme temperatures and high noise levels
• Travel may be required periodically, including overnight stays
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
