Overview

Responsibilities

• Your vehicle must be operated safely at all times.
• Delivery and pickup of packages to businesses and residences. Routes vary, but drivers routinely perform up to 150 stops a day.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections including checking fluid levels.
• Load vehicle for deliveries and organize daily loads.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain communication with the manager.
• Accurately operate scanner and track the delivery process.
• Ensure accurate disposition of packages and pickups; maintain route integrity.
• Deliver entire route in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age, hold a valid driver’s license, and have a clean driving record.
• Pass a drug test (includes marijuana) with continued random drug screens throughout employment.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 75 lbs. and up to 150 lbs. with a hand truck.
• Pass FedEx Ground criminal background check.
• Reliable transportation to and from work; be on time and ready to work each day.
• Be able to climb stairs and work in all types of weather.
• Strong work ethic and a “get it done” attitude.

• Paid training will be provided covering delivery/route procedures, standard equipment operations, customer service skills, and driver safety.
