Cella is hiring: Freelance Graphic Designer in Washington

Overview

Location: Washington, D.C. (Remote)

Schedule: Flexible, during regular business hours

Duration: Long-term, indefinite

Compensation Range: $35 - $42/hr W2

We’re looking for a Freelance Graphic Designer to join our team on a part-time, long-term basis. This is a great opportunity for a creative professional who excels at managing their own schedule and is comfortable working within established corporate brand guidelines. You will collaborate closely with a small design team on a variety of projects, including digital and print materials like ads, brochures, event invitations, and other B2B communications. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing a mix of digital and print work. Experience in the financial services industry and strong PowerPoint skills are a plus.

Hours: Hours per week on average ~10-15, some weeks may be lower, some weeks higher. Amount of hours are not guaranteed, subject to vary.

Responsibilities

The role requires a designer who is not only skilled in execution but also proactive in their communication, asks questions, and is open to feedback. You should be able to deliver high-quality work that aligns with our brand's look and feel, even when working on pre-existing templates.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Cloud, Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Strong project management skills.
• Proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint.
• Experience with writing processes/procedures.
• Ability to work within corporate brand standards.
• Excellent communication skills, both proactive and accountable.
• Strong eye for photography and image selection.
• A mix of conceptual and existing work, including templates and new concepts.
