Be part of our talented Food and Beverage team as Barista at the Grand Hyatt Indian Wells Resort and Villas. Located in Greater Palm Springs, Grand Hyatt Indian Wells has completed a property-wide renovation and branding from Regency to Grand. Grand Hyatt features 531 newly transformed luxury guestrooms, suites, casita-style villas, and two brand new Celebrity Chef food & beverage venues. The property is positioned to be a destination favorite in the area.

The hourly pay rate for this position is $16.50 with the opportunity to earn additional income through tips. This is the pay rate Grand Hyatt Indian Wells reasonably expects to pay for this position.

Responsibilities

The Barista will provide service in Camino Springs Market coffee-shop located on the property of the resort. Responsibilities include:

• Preparing food and beverages in accordance with menu standards
• Providing a welcoming and clean environment for guests
• Processing payments using the POS system
• Restocking product shelves and selling retail merchandise
• Other responsibilities as assigned by managers

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
• Refined verbal communication skills
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate weight (about 25 pounds)
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Riverside County Food Handler's license must be obtained
