Social Worker Job at ALLMED Staffing in Alamogordo

Large managed care company is looking for a Social Worker to work with CARA (Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act) mothers and children in Medicaid population.

WORK LOCATION: MUST RESIDE IN NM. 25% TRAVEL

PAY: $37.00

CONTRACT DATES: 8/11/25 - 2/27/26

HOURS: M-F, 8-5

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with CARA (Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act) mothers and children in Medicaid population.
• Work directly with specialized case management team for care coordination (Galileo),
• Work with specialized meal program for larger maternity-diabetic program.
• Work and educate hospitals across state on Medicaid and CARA standards.

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5-10 years' experience working with Substance Use Disorder (SUD) patients and comfortable talking about addiction and recovery methods with patients and visiting patients (Peer Mentor).
• 5-10 years working in an OBGYN practice or Hospital Maternity Department, Neonatal ICU unit is preferred.
• Licensed professional preferred.
• Member of the Health Plan maternity committee and involved in CARA and all things maternity related.
