About the Role We are looking for an Executive Director to lead the Biologics Drug Substance Manufacturing Sciences and Technology team. This influential leadership position is essential for overseeing the scientific and technical aspects of biologics manufacturing processes, from process validation to commercialization and ongoing life cycle management. Your responsibilities will include: Developing and executing a robust MS&T strategy that aligns with our business goals. Driving the commercialization and implementation of innovative manufacturing technologies. Providing comprehensive technical support for commercial manufacturing operations. Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, including process development, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, and operations. Championing the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and best practices to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality. Ensuring compliance of all MS&T activities with global regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will possess: A Ph.D. and/or Master's degree in pharmaceutical sciences or a related field. A minimum of 20 years of experience in pharmaceutical development, showcasing a proven track record of increasing responsibility. In-depth knowledge of the biologics drug development process and CMC-related FDA and international regulations. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective organizational and business strategies. Strong leadership skills with a focus on mentoring and building high-performing teams. The ability to anticipate industry trends, drive innovation, and utilize resources efficiently in alignment with business objectives. You will also act as the primary technical representative to global regulatory agencies regarding our biologics drug substance products.
