Technical Writer
Mansfield, MA $30 per hour | Full-Time
About the Role
We’re hiring a
Technical Writer
to create clear, accurate documentation and training materials that support our engineering, manufacturing, and customer-facing teams. This is a hands-on role where you’ll write, illustrate, and deliver both print and digital content in a fast-paced technical environment.
What You’ll Do
Write, illustrate, and edit
product manuals and instruction sets
from engineering data and SME input.
Revise and update manufacturing documentation in response to
ECO activity and production changes .
Create documentation to support
field retrofits and product upgrades .
Participate in
design reviews and new product development meetings .
Develop
technical marketing content
(written, photo, and video) for web and social platforms.
Produce
training materials
(written and/or video) for end users and internal teams.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in
Technical Communications
() plus 2–5 years of related experience, or equivalent.
Strong
writing and verbal communication
skills.
Basic
photo and video production
skills.
Ability to quickly learn complex technical products and translate them into clear documentation.
Experience working with
engineering or field service teams
is a plus.
Familiarity with
refrigeration systems and microprocessor controls
is a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills; adaptable and energized by a
fast-paced environment .

Adobe FrameMaker, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat
Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
