The company also operates AMC Studios, our in-house studio, production, and distribution operation behind acclaimed and fan-favorite originals including The Walking Dead Universe and the Anne Rice Immortal Universe, and AMC Networks International, our international programming business. We are currently seeking a Dir - Streaming Business Planning and Strategy to join our Partner Management & Strategy team based in our Santa Monica, California Office. This position will play a key role in AMCN's Partner Management and Strategy team. Reporting into the VP, Streaming Business Planning and Strategy, this role will support essential strategy and planning projects to optimize AMCN's streaming portfolio against its goals and strategies across SVOD, AVOD, and FAST. The ideal candidate is a proactive, analytical thinker ready to evaluate, architect, and execute on programs and frameworks that drive streaming revenue growth and profitability. Operating in a cross-functional organization, this will be a new discipline and new role for AMC Networks. This role sits within the commercial revenue organization. Job Responsibilities Strategic Frameworks: Identify and lead the development of strategies and commercial options that drive subscriber and advertising revenue growth, balancing short and long-term goals Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, whitespace opportunities, and competitive threats within the streaming industry Go-to-Market (GTM) Planning: Produce actionable go-to-market (GTM) analysis to inform addressable universe, acquisition, retention, engagement strategies and growth goals across our footprint Financial Modeling: Build commercial options by modeling potential size of opportunities and outlining competitive peer groups, prospective partners, KPIs and benchmarks Stakeholder Engagement: Partner cross-functionally with Content Strategy, Finance, Marketing, Product, Research, and other crucial workstream owners in support of insights for leadership updates and initiative optimization Business Cases: Deliver leadership-facing memos and craft persuasive presentation materials with data-driven narratives that highlight opportunities, rationale, considerations, and success criteria to influence executive decision-making and ensure organizational alignment for strategic streaming goals Performance Metrics: Assist in the identification of reporting needs and development, execution, organization, and maintenance of streaming reporting, tracking and performance dashboards to inform strategic decision-making for GTM plans and evaluate progress toward goals Ad-Hoc Business Development: Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate and execute potential partnership deals, joint ventures, and acquisitions that align with strategic goals Qualifications (Required & Preferred) Bachelor's degree required (MBA, MSF, or similar preferred) 8+ years of relevant strategy, financial, consulting, business development, or similar experience Advanced proficiency with PowerPoint, large datasets, and scenario modeling in Excel Comfort with ambiguity alongside quickly evolving strategies and priorities Ability to meet deadlines and sustain high quality output through context switching Excellent interpersonal skills with a high level of emotional intelligence, empathy, and passion Capacity to build lasting alliances across diverse constituencies, individuals, and build confidence with senior management Superb oral and written communication skills, with the aptitude to articulate complex concepts, and craft clear, concise, and compelling narratives Stellar critical thinking and analytical skills, with demonstrated background in deep quantitative modeling, and statistical analysis Highly detail-oriented and proactive, operating with a high degree of autonomy Prior experience in digital retail and subscription services, advertising, or e-commerce Working knowledge of digital advertising models and marketing tactics Familiarity with partnerships commercial terms structures and operational models, partner management, and business development a plus The base compensation range for this position is $130,000 to $165,000 commensurate with experience.
