Overview

Dynamo Technologies is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to design, implement, secure, and maintain cloud-based environments in support of PdM Biometrics enterprise biometric and forensic systems. The Cloud Engineer will provide technical expertise in cloud architecture, cybersecurity, DevSecOps, and compliance with DoD and Army standards. This role will ensure resilient, secure, and scalable solutions aligned to mission-critical biometric systems. Duties/Responsibilities

Configure and maintain cloud site access over commercial internet in accordance with existing security restrictions to ensure secure and compliant operations. Implement Risk Management Framework (RMF) and prepare eMASS artifacts to obtain/maintain ATO. Apply DISA STIGs, SRGs, and CC SRG standards to cloud and containerized environments. Conduct ACAS scans, SCAP validations, and manual STIG checks; report compliance. Collaborate with CSSP to address findings, remediate vulnerabilities, and ensure continuous monitoring. Build Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions, leveraging automation (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation). Support secure CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment of cloud-native applications. Implement identity and access management (IAM) controls, logging, and monitoring solutions. Participate in IPTs, design reviews, and Test Readiness Reviews. Provide technical writing/editing for engineering deliverables, SOPs, and cloud security policies. Advise PdM leadership on cloud modernization strategies, S&T integration, and compliance alignment. Required Skills/Abilities

Demonstrated expertise in AWS cloud engineering, including design, deployment, and sustainment of secure enterprise solutions. Strong experience with containerization platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift. Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools, including Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. Experience implementing DevSecOps practices, including secure CI/CD pipelines. Ability to support continuity of operations and disaster recovery planning for cloud-hosted systems. Excellent technical writing, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to brief senior leadership. U.S Citizenship required Nice To Have Skills

AWS Certification Specialty or Advanced Networking. Experience with Microsoft Azure Government Cloud or hybrid cloud architectures. Familiarity with DoD Biometrics systems and integration with enterprise repositories. Knowledge of DoD/Army acquisition processes and supporting documentation (DoDI 5000, JCIDS). Proficiency with cloud monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana). Experience supporting interagency or multinational partners in secure cloud environments. Education And Experience

Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or related discipline and 8+ years of relevant cloud engineering experience. In lieu of a degree, 12+ years of relevant experience may be substituted. Travel Requirement

Yes, minimal; occasional travel for testing, training, or interagency coordination. Clearance Requirement
