Marketing Team Lead Overview: Myositis Support & Understanding (MSU) is seeking a creative and passionate Volunteer Graphic Designer / Social Media Content Creator to join our marketing team. In this role, you will help us create visually engaging graphics that elevate our branding and support our outreach efforts within the Myositis Community. This is an outstanding opportunity for aspiring graphic designers or social media content creators to gain valuable experience while making a meaniful impact in the lives of those affected by Myositis. Key Responsibilities: Design and produce high-quality graphics for various platforms, including social media, our MSU website, newsletters, and promotional materials aimed at supporting individuals impacted by Myositis. Collaborate with the MSU marketing team to develop and execute visual concepts that resonate with our audience of patients, care partners and healthcare professionals, ensuring alignment with our mission and values. Assist in creating eye-catching presentations for educational webinars, workshops, and community events that enhance understanding of Myositis and all the support options available. Ensure all graphics meet technical specifications and are delivered on time, supporting effective communication and outreach for MSU initiatives. Stay updated on design trends and tools, providing fresh ideas to enhance our visual storytelling and community engagement. Incorporate feedback from team members and stakeholders to refine designs and ensure they effectively convey messages relevant to the Myositis Community. Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to creative discussions that drive impactful marketing strategies to promote awareness and support for Myositis. Qualifications: Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, PosterMyWall or equivalent tools. Portfolio showcasing previous design work and creative projects, ideally within the health or non-profit sector. Basic understanding of branding, typography, color theory, and layout design. Excellent communication and collaboration skills within a team focused on supporting the Myositis Community. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Passion for empowering individuals affected by Myositis and desire to use your design skills to create positive change in their lives.
