Job Summary:
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Systems Engineer to take lead roles in designing, developing, and implementing large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed software applications and systems. This role involves contributing to engineering efforts from design to implementation, solving complex technical challenges especially around rapid test iteration, and maintaining high standards in code health, testing, and maintainability.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop software tooling for operations to ensure high availability and maintainability. Troubleshoot software and hardware issues on equipment. Contribute to code health, testing practices, and adopt best practices in maintainability. Design, set up, and maintain test fixtures for software verification on real hardware. Drive efforts from design to implementation, solving complex technical challenges around developer and engineering productivity.
Must-Have Skills:
Strong programming/scripting language proficiency in Python, Java, Bash, or Perl. In-depth knowledge of the AWS Cloud Development Kit. Solid experience in Linux/Unix environments.
Industry Experience:
Experience in IT, software development, or data center environments. Prior experience in designing, developing, and deploying services within an organization, particularly those that are internally facing.
