This opportunity is for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to provide services in a K-12 public school setting located approximately 20 minutes outside Boston, MA. This contract position is to cover a maternity leave from August 25th through mid-November, offering a valuable short-term engagement in a dynamic educational environment.

Responsibilities: Deliver speech and language therapy services to K-12 students with diverse communication needs Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on student evaluations Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to support student progress Maintain thorough documentation of caseload and session outcomes in compliance with district and regulatory standards Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as required Qualifications: Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or willing to submit Certificate of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) credentials Experience working with children from kindergarten through 12th grade Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to manage a caseload with guidance as details are confirmed Location: School located in Lowell, Massachusetts, a convenient 20-minute commute from Boston Benefits: Gain diverse experience within a supportive K-12 educational setting Work on a clearly defined, temporary contract with a focused timeframe Opportunity to contribute to student speech and language development during an important transitional leave Qualified candidates interested in this leave coverage opportunity are encouraged to apply promptly to discuss caseload details and start dates.
