What You’ll Do Lead & Develop a Winning Team
– Foster a guest-obsessed culture, ensuring every guest interaction is exceptional; Recruit, train, and mentor team members; Provide continuous feedback, coaching, and performance management; Create a positive and engaging work environment where team members feel valued. Drive Store Performance & Profitability
– Execute operational plans to meet sales, labor, and profitability goals; Analyze sales, margin, and labor reports to identify opportunities for improvement; Operationalize marketing strategies to boost food sales and promotions; Monitor inventory, cash handling, and store expenses to optimize financial results. Ensure High Standards in Food & Safety
– Lead by example in upholding safety and sanitation standards; Conduct regular quality checks to ensure food and beverage offerings meet or exceed expectations; Train and enforce compliance with food handling, safety regulations, and company policies. Maintain a Clean & Organized Store
– Ensure the store is always clean, well-stocked, and visually appealing; Proactively address maintenance needs and vendor relationships; Oversee scheduling and payroll execution to ensure proper staffing levels. Building Talent
– Demonstrate RaceTrac's Core Values of Honesty, Efficiency, Positive Attitude, Respect, and Teamwork; Display leadership qualities through servant-leader mentality, prioritizing tasks, going the extra mile for guests and your team, listening, and communicating respectfully; Lead coaching, training, and assessment of direct reports while adhering to operational standards. Driving Success
– Direct control of inventory and distribution of materials; Review financial statements and other performance data to measure productivity; Identify operational improvements based on market trends; Develop and maintain relationships with vendors for efficient deliveries; Ensure communication is passed to every team member; Use tools to coach, mentor and develop a high-performing store team; Ensure risk management compliance; Create or approve schedules to ensure proper staffing levels; Own staffing by providing timely feedback on interviews; Participate in hiring decisions; Write, implement, and monitor manager development and performance plans; Ensure proper procedures for hiring, promotions, and separations; Ensure all team members follow policies and standards; Ensure licenses are valid as required by law; Understand budget and cost trends to drive sales and financial health.
