Inpatient Hospital Pharmacist

for a critical access hospital. This 13-week travel contract offers you the chance to make a

CPSI EMR system (training provided if needed).

Key Responsibilities: Verify inpatient medication orders with accuracy and urgency.

Oversee and mentor pharmacy technicians to ensure safe, efficient workflow.

Provide expert medication therapy consultations to physicians and nursing staff.

Participate in pharmacokinetic dosing and comprehensive medication therapy management.

Maintain full compliance with hospital policies, protocols, and state/federal regulations.

Serve as a clinical leader and trusted resource within the pharmacy department.

Required Qualifications: Active

Iowa Pharmacist License

or eligibility for temporary licensure.

Minimum

2 years of recent inpatient hospital experience

(critical access experience a plus).

Strong clinical judgment and comfort managing a wide range of inpatient needs.

Proven leadership in supervising pharmacy technicians and collaborating with clinical teams.

Excellent communication and patient-focused mindset.
