A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to serve K-12 students in a school setting located in Newland, NC. This role is contracted for the current school year (CSY) and involves working closely with students, educators, and families to support communication development and address speech and language challenges.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify student needs Develop individualized treatment plans and goals to improve communication skills Provide direct therapy services to students across the K-12 spectrum Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to integrate speech-language goals into the educational setting Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with relevant guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions Qualifications: Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Valid licensure in the state of North Carolina or eligibility to obtain licensure Experience working with pediatric populations in a school environment preferred Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs Location: Newland, North Carolina This contract opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on student communication and academic success throughout the school year.
