A full-time or part-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is available to support K-12 students within a school setting. This contract assignment runs from the end of August through mid-June and offers the opportunity to engage with a dynamic student population across various grade levels.

Responsibilities: Provide direct speech-language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 50-60 students (full-time), addressing individual needs and goals. Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to develop and implement effective communication strategies. Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students in kindergarten through 12th grade. Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with educational guidelines. Participate in meetings and contribute to a multidisciplinary team approach to student support. Qualifications and Experience: Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Experience working with children and adolescents in educational settings. Strong understanding of speech and language development across K-12 age groups. Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt therapy to various communication disorders. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with school staff and families. Location and Schedule: Based in Albany, Oregon. Contract runs from late August to mid-June. Work hours are up to 37.5 hours weekly for full-time, with part-time arrangements considered. Typical workday starts at 8:00 am and ends at 4:00 pm.
