Key responsibilities include: Conducting comprehensive evaluations of students presenting with speech and language disorders Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's goals Providing targeted therapy sessions to improve communication abilities Carefully tracking and documenting progress to inform ongoing care Collaborating effectively with teachers, counselors, and other specialists to ensure coordinated support Engaging families to increase their understanding and involvement in the therapy process To be successful, candidates must have: A Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Oregon A Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations is highly desirable Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively partner with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative environment This role requires an active license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology in Oregon and the possession or completion of a Masters degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
