A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide specialized support across multiple grade levels in a diverse K-12 school setting. This contract opportunity runs from the start date as soon as possible through June 9, 2026, serving a caseload that spans preschool, elementary, middle, and high school students within self-contained classrooms. The role involves approximately 37.5 hours per week, fostering communication skills development for a variety of learners.

Key Responsibilities: Deliver targeted speech and language therapy services to students with diverse needs across different schools and age groups. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educational teams. Utilize evidence-based practices and ongoing assessments to track student progress. Communicate effectively with educators, families, and other professionals to support student success. Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations related to special education and speech pathology services. Qualifications: Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders from a regionally accredited institution. Valid Professional Educator Certification. Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Licensure through the Alabama Board of Speech Pathology and Audiology (ABSESPA). Minimum of five years successful teaching experience in special education or related services.
