K-12 school serving students through age 26 Schedule:
3 days per week, 7.5-hour days Duration:
School year contract Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized speech-language therapy to students with severe autism across a wide age range (Kindergarten through age 26) Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including educators and support staff to develop and implement communication goals Utilize evidence-based practices and augmentative/alternative communication (AAC) strategies to support student communication needs Conduct assessments, track progress, and maintain thorough documentation in compliance with educational standards Provide training and support to classroom staff regarding communication strategies Qualifications: Valid State License as a Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA Experience working with students on the autism spectrum, especially severe cases Knowledge of K-12 educational settings and related speech therapy interventions Strong collaboration and communication skills This role offers the chance to make a significant difference in the lives of students with complex communication needs while enjoying a part-time onsite schedule.
