Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students unique needs Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to adapt curriculum and instruction Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting strategies to ensure academic growth and success Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of student performance and communication with families Create a supportive and positive classroom environment that encourages social, emotional, and academic development Desired Qualifications: Valid special education certification/license Experience working with elementary-aged children, preferably 2nd and 3rd grades Strong knowledge of special education laws, instructional strategies, and assessment tools Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and family members Excellent communication and organizational skills Position Details: Location: Gallatin, TN Grade Levels: 2nd and 3rd grade Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:45 am to 3:15 pm Contract duration: Current school year (CSY) On-site, in-person role This role offers an influential chance to make a difference in the lives of young learners requiring additional support.
