A highly regarded Connecticut school district is seeking a dedicated
Sign Language Interpreter
to provide 1:1 support for an elementary student during the 20252026 school year. This is a full-time opportunity with a billing client known for strong support and collaboration. Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 interpreting services for an elementary student in the classroom and school environment
Facilitate communication between the student, teachers, and peers
Support the students access to instruction, social interactions, and school activities
Collaborate with educators and support staff to meet the students individualized needs
Qualifications
Required:
RID/NIC certification and/or EIPA score
Experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality
Position Details
Schedule:
Full-time, 32.5 hours/week
Caseload:
1:1 with elementary student
Contract:
20252026 School Year
Pay Rate:
$45$55/hour, depending on experience
