A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is available for a contract role supporting maternity leave coverage at an elementary school in Aurora, IL. This opportunity runs from August 20 through Thanksgiving, serving students in grades 2 through 5 within the academic year calendar.

Key Responsibilities: Provide speech-language therapy services to elementary-aged students (2nd through 5th grade) following individualized education plans Conduct evaluations, assessments, and progress monitoring consistent with best practices and school-based guidelines Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights Qualifications: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active Illinois SLP License and Professional Educator License (PEL) certification Experience or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Strong knowledge of school-based pediatric speech-language pathology Benefits and Compensation: W2 contract with guaranteed hourly pay ranging from $35 to $55 Weekly paychecks for consistent income flow Eligibility for benefits including health, dental, and vision coverage Enrollment option in 401(k) retirement plan Continuing education unit (CEU) reimbursement to support professional development This contract position offers the chance to work full-time hours within a school setting, delivering compassionate care and essential speech services to support student success.
