School Social Worker Full-Time
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate
School Social Worker
to join our team. This position is vital in supporting the emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs of students while helping to build a safe and supportive school environment. Primary Responsibilities:
Provide individual and small-group counseling services in alignment with students IEPs, 504 Plans, and Tier 2 or Tier 3 interventions identified through the MTSS Committee.
Partner with families to identify and access community-based resources that support students emotional and mental health needs.
Serve as a member of the counseling team and support faculty in responding to occasional crisis situationssuch as student dysregulation or emotional distress.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field.
Active state licensure/certification as a School Social Worker.
Previous school-based experience preferred.
Strong communication, collaboration, and crisis intervention skills.
