Overview

Join GardaWorld for the role of Security Guard - Corporate Events. GardaWorld Security Services is expanding our Event Services Team to deliver best-in-class customer service at high-end events. The primary focus is customer service in a concierge security setting across various shifts.

Location: Sunnyvale (Main Campus), Mountain View, and San Jose, CA.

Schedule: 8 - 12 hours per shift, flexible and available any day of the week and any shift. Wage: $23 per hour. DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees. Responsibilities

• Must be articulate and professional when interacting with guests, the events team, and security staff.
• Strong interpersonal skills; this is a guest services type role.
• Manage access control.
• Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks.
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams.
• Answer questions in person or by phone.
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
• Escalate incidents appropriately via radio or GSOC or on-site security.
• Read and understand maps to help direct guests throughout the campus.

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Provide documentation of HS Diploma or GED.
• State security license and additional 32-hour BSIS security trainings (additional trainings can be obtained during the hiring process).
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid CA driver license and clean driving record.
• 6 months of security experience preferred.
• Be able to pass an extensive screening process.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Proficient in basic phone and computer skills.
• Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience is a plus.
