Overview
Lopez Island Family Resource Center (LIFRC) seeks a professional team member in youth development to join the After-School Program as Lead Instructor for grades K-4. We offer benefits and professional development opportunities, including access to a network of peers in 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC) across the State. Position open until filled. Status: Regular, 20 hours per week. Optional: 40 hours per week during the summer camp season. Location: Lopez Island, WA. In-service position with 100% on-site. Responsibilities
Lead Instructor for the After-School Program for grades K-4. Create safe, supportive, engaging, and interactive learning environments for youth. Collaborate with peers within the 21st Century Community Learning Center (21st CCLC) network across the State. Participate in program activities at designated locations: Lopez School and Lopez Library. Report to the Youth Learning Programs Manager. Support enrichment activities that promote literacy and related educational development. Program Details
Wage range: $25.50-$27 DOE Benefits: paid vacation and sick time; 75% of the premium cost of a Regence Health Insurance Plan; 3% annual retirement plan contribution Term: Up to two years with annual renewal contingent on funding General work hours (September-June): Mon, Wed, Fri 2:00-6:00 PM; Tue 1:00-6:00 PM; Thu 3:00-6:00 PM Optional evening hours: Occasional for family events scheduled in advance Program Locations: Lopez School and Lopez Library Qualifications

The After-School and Summer Camp Programs are funded by a 21st Century Community Learning Center (21st CCLC) Grant and aim to offer a broad array of high-quality, out-of-school time academic, social, and emotional learning and enrichment activities, providing families with opportunities for active and meaningful engagement in their children’s education, including literacy and related educational development.
