We are looking for a hardworking, innovative and collaborative Payroll Consultant to join our team. In this role you will ensure the successful implementation of the Workday Payroll solution with customers through product and implementation expertise. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience implementing or supporting Payroll systems, requirements gathering, configuration, data conversion, and testing. You should be detail-oriented, self-motivated, proactive, results-oriented and able to partner with customers and your project team. Be ready to be challenged and have fun! Master Workday US Payroll and at least one additional Workday Payroll country On client engagements: understand client business requirements, configure the Workday solution, demonstrate configurations via prototype systems, and assist the client in testing the Workday solution Work with the client to help convert legacy data into Workday Assist the Integration team in configuring and testing integrations between Workday and third-party or custom solutions Understand Workday’s Implementation Methodology and apply it on all client engagements Ensure the client leverages Workday's proven solutions Mentor and share product knowledge with other consultants Help deliver successful project outcomes and lasting client relationships About You
Proven mentorship skills, with the ability to foster individual growth and development through effective communication, constructive feedback, and goal setting, are highly valued. Strong influencing skills, including persuasive communication and the ability to drive consensus and effectively collaborate with stakeholders, are crucial. 5+ years experience implementing Payroll solutions (Senior Payroll Functional Consultant) Consulting experience with a consulting/software company required Experience implementing Workday or similar applications Qualifications
10+ years experience implementing Payroll solutions (Principal Payroll Functional Consultant) Consulting experience with a consulting/software company required Experience implementing Workday or similar applications Functional experience - Workday US Payroll Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including active listening and the ability to tailor communication to diverse audiences Strong industry knowledge, including staying abreast of current trends, regulatory environments, and strategic planning Proven ability to gather and analyze requirements and drive project clarity Proven project management experience and a passion for customer service Strong solutions design skills to address business challenges Experience in strategic business consulting and driving organizational growth Excellent task management and time management skills Collaborative, positive team-focused approach Ability to travel up to 30% of the time Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience required Primary Location: USA. IL. Chicago; Primary Location Base Pay Range: $147,400 USD - $221,100 USD; Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $133,300 USD - $236,800 USD Our Approach to Flexible Work
