The Director of Jesuit Initiatives at McDonough School of Business (MSB) is a senior leadership role designed to advance the School’s Jesuit mission and identity across academic, co-curricular, and community engagement activities. Rooted in the values of cura personalis, service to others, and reflective leadership, this role will liaise across MSB departments and University-wide mission initiatives to integrate Jesuit principles into business education and school culture. The Director of Jesuit Business Initiatives is critical to the McDonough School of Business because the role ensures that the school’s identity and strategic direction are firmly rooted in Georgetown’s Jesuit tradition. The Director embeds Jesuit values into the fabric of MSB by creating new opportunities and supporting existing activities that cultivate ethically grounded, socially conscious leaders across its academic programs, co-curricular experiences, and community engagement. The Director strengthens a shared sense of mission among students, staff, and faculty. Additional duties include but are not limited to: Partner with program leaders to design curricular and co-curricular offerings that emphasize reflective engagement with Jesuit values such as Community in Diversity, Cura Personalis, and People for Others Identify key touchpoints and milestones in which Jesuit values could be embedded more meaningfully, such as student orientation, faculty and staff onboarding, and leadership development. Collaborate with Advancement and the Dean’s Office to secure funding for mission-focused initiatives, retreats, and the development of a Jesuit Business Center Work closely with the Office of Marketing and Communications to promote community awareness of Jesuit-related offerings and tell the story to external audiences and stakeholders. Represent the McDonough School of Business in university-wide mission and ministry initiatives, aligning school efforts with institutional priorities, and also attract donor, foundation, or corporate sponsorship Work Interactions

The Director of Jesuit Business Initiatives reports directly to the Chief of Staff and interacts regularly with members of the Dean’s Office, unit and program heads, and colleagues who lead signature social impact programs such as the Pivot Program and Small Business Corps (SBC). The Director will have significant engagement with the broader MSB community—staff, faculty, and students—as well as with Campus Ministry. The Director of Jesuit Business Initiatives advances Georgetown University’s mission by embedding Jesuit values—such as reflection, service, and cura personalis—into the culture and operations of the McDonough School of Business. This role ensures that reflective leadership and community impact are core to the MSB experience for students, staff, and faculty alike. Requirements and Qualifications

Master’s degree in theology, ethics, education, business, or related field At least 8 years of progressively responsible professional experience A deep understanding of Jesuit identity, higher education, and mission-driven leadership Experience with community engagement and partnerships Ability to collaborate effectively across diverse groups and foster an inclusive environment and interreligious dialogue Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Strategic thinker with strong organizational and project management skills Collaborative, flexible, and professional attitude Computer proficiency – MS Office Suite, database management Preferred qualifications (if applicable)

Experience in Higher Education Administration Familiarity with Georgetown University’s mission and values Experience in promoting mission-driven education, particularly in a business school context Work Mode Designation

This position has been designated as Hybrid. The Director is expected to work in-person 4 days per week, with the option of working remotely 1 day per week. Work mode designations are regularly reviewed to meet the evolving needs of the University. Pay Range

The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position is $80,429.00 - $157,238.93. Compensation is determined by a number of factors including the candidate’s qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University’s business needs and external factors.
