A Temporary Speech-Language Pathologist position is available to provide comprehensive support for students in a K-12 educational setting starting January 2026. This leave replacement contract role requires expertise in assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders to help students achieve their academic and social potential.

Scroll down for a complete overview of what this job will require Are you the right candidate for this opportunity Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized speech and language therapy services for students with a variety of communication disorders Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective intervention plans Conduct assessments and progress monitoring aligned with educational goals and state regulations Maintain accurate and confidential documentation related to student evaluations and therapy sessions Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations for student support Qualifications: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Valid state SLP school license or eligibility Experience working within K-12 educational environments preferred Strong assessment, intervention, and collaborative skills Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively Location: Position based in Clinton, Mississippi at a K-12 school This contract opportunity is ideal for a licensed SLP seeking meaningful short-term work supporting students during a maternity leave period starting in January 2026.
