A contract opportunity is available for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) to provide individualized services for pediatric students during the 2025-2026 school year. Assignment Details: Positions open: 2 Speech-Language Pathologists and 2 Speech-Language Pathology Assistants Location: Copperas Cove, TX area (multiple school locations may be assigned) Contract Duration: August 1, 2025 May 22, 2026 Weekly Hours: 40 per week Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs Implement direct 1:1 therapy sessions focusing on a variety of speech and language disorders Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student communication development Maintain detailed documentation and progress notes in compliance with regulatory and school district requirements Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals aligned with IEPs Preferred Qualifications: Valid state licensure or certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) or as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Experience working with pediatric populations in educational settings Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster positive relationships with students and school staff Ability to adapt therapy strategies to meet the diverse needs of elementary and middle school students Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to professional standards This position offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on student communication skills in a supportive educational environment.
