Seeking two qualified Teachers for the Visually Impaired to support K-12 students in a school setting in the Philadelphia, PA area for the 2025-2026 school year. Duration: August 20, 2025 June 3, 2026 (with possible extension for make-up days) Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:15 PM (32.5 hours per week) Contract Type: School Year (CSY) Key Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction tailored to blind and visually impaired students across all K-12 grade levels Administer assessments to evaluate student abilities and learning needs Monitor and document student progress regularly to guide instructional adjustments Collaborate with educational teams and families to support student development and success Required Qualifications: Valid Pennsylvania certification as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired Experience working with blind and visually impaired students in an educational setting Strong communication and organizational skills to manage student records and collaborate effectively Benefits & Perks: Competitive hourly pay range of $40 to $55 Health, dental, and vision insurance available 401(k) retirement plan participation Weekly pay to ensure prompt compensation This position offers a rewarding environment where specialized teaching skills can directly enhance student growth and independence.
