A certified Speech-Language Pathologist is needed for a full-time maternity leave contract position serving K-12 students in Quarryville, PA. This role runs from January 12 through May 1 and focuses primarily on an elementary caseload of 50-55 students. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:20 AM to 4:00 PM.

Responsibilities include: Providing evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for speech and language disorders among school-age children Implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborating with teachers and families Conducting screenings and assessments to monitor student progress Delivering direct therapy services focusing on pediatric speech and language needs Documenting therapy outcomes and maintaining compliant records Participating in multidisciplinary meetings and professional development activities Qualifications: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in school or healthcare settings Capability to manage a caseload of elementary-aged students effectively Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred or recently licensed SLPs welcomed Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage students, parents, and staff This maternity leave assignment offers the opportunity to contribute meaningful speech-language support within a structured school environment, enhancing communication skills for young learners.
