Occupational Therapist School Setting
Location: Gresham, OR (with work days in nearby Gladstone and Estacada)
Are you the right candidate for this opportunity Make sure to read the full description below. A full-time Occupational Therapist is needed to provide services in a K-12 school environment. This contract position runs from September 1 through November 23, with the possibility of renewal based on performance and fit. Responsibilities: Deliver evaluation, treatment, and consultation services to students with various disabilities across the K-12 spectrum Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Monitor student progress and adjust therapeutic interventions accordingly Maintain clear and accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory and school requirements Assist with preparing equipment and adapting environments to support student needs Schedule: Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays in Gladstone Tuesdays and Wednesdays in Estacada Qualifications: Valid Occupational Therapy licensure for the state of Oregon Experience working with school-aged children in educational settings preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Strong organizational and communication skills Knowledge of school-based therapy practices and special education law This role offers an opportunity to impact students educational experiences through targeted occupational therapy services.
